Like So is a grimy uk-flavour bass house ditty dedicated to 80s after-school kids TV. A gruff yet bouncy groove sticky-taped together with retro synths, and samples reminiscent of old school TV craft – razor sharp scissor clicks and the sound of cardboard being cut up.
Sonic Space Lab takes the retro flavour further, layering up more analog squelchy goodness with his mix. Frost & Creature have cooked up an even squelchier swamp-breakbeat electro tune … with excessively prominent soundsystem sub for good measure. Jaguar Blood nudges the source material multiple notches toward hyped-up late nite tekno.
